The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow Boosting Moisturiser Review

Since I last blogged about my winter skincare essentials, I've updated my skincare routine quite a lot. I still sometimes use the Makeup Forever Gentle Cleansing Milk in the mornings, but I've added another moisturiser to my collection.

What I've been up to lately - Instagram Edition

Even though I stopped blogging for a while, my Instagram account will always be up to date with what I'm doing. I'd say I'm a bit of an Instagram addict; you know, the typical "I have to take a picture before we eat" and "can you take a picture of me posing casually in front of this pink house" type of person. I know I'm definitely not the only one obsessing over a perfect feed, cautiously curated pictures and the right amount of contrast and saturation. You can follow me on Instagram at @ellendahlstrom if you fancy some more life updates!

Banana Chocolate Oatmeal

Oatmeal has been my go-to breakfast for so so long now. It's the perfect way to start off the day, whether school, work, going to the gym or just staying in bed is on the schedule. It fills me up and makes me stay on track until lunchtime. I've written about two of my favourite oatmeal combinations before, Berry Oatmeal and Apple Oatmeal. My current favourite, which I thought I'd share with you today, is a chocolate oatmeal with banana. How delicious?!

A day in Covent Garden

During my time at UNI, I didn't get as much time as I wanted to explore London. However, as I've now graduated and haven't got a job, I've got all the time in the world. A few days ago I brought my camera and some candy (you always need candy, right?) with me to explore beautiful Covent Garden.

Back to blogging?!

Hi, how are you? It wasn’t exactly yesterday I last set my foot in here.
Since last time we saw each other I have graduated London College of Fashion and I am now contemplating whether to stay in London or go home.

Almond and Date Energy Balls

A few days ago I decided to make these delicious energy balls. I love to snack on something when I work or study, and since I'm quite tall as well I often find myself in situations when I need to eat something fast so that I don't faint (I'm sure most of you tall people recognise this situation). When it happens it's very easy to just run into a shop and grab the closest chocolate bar. But in an attempt to save some money and be a bit healthier I decided to make my own, homemade emergency food; these amazing energy balls made from dates and almonds.

Breakfast and Meal Planning

2017 is here, and with it comes the first blogpost of the year. A bit behind, I now, but I've been busy with work. I can finally say that I'm officially on break now, even though it's just for a week. I'm trying to enjoy this week to the full, and this morning I sat down to make some preparations for what to eat this week. This christmas I was lucky to be given the amazing cookbook by Niomi Smart, "Eat Smart", and this week is going to consist mostly of recipes I've found in it. o excited!

For breakfast today though I decided to go with something of my own creations. Some left over berries in the freezer from yesterday's dessert made a perfect berry oatmeal breakfast today. It's the easiest breakfast to make, and so delicious! I just mixed 1,5 dl of oats with water and berries and put it on the stove for about five minutes. I topped it off with some more berries and almonds. Yum!
